into the city, towers of white stone
the streets are empty, soon they will flow with blood
the sun has set, now bathed in moonlights glow
in through the palace gates, to claim in blood the vengeance of
his soul
bathing in power, the amulet begins to glow
screams arise in the night, as the ancient dread claims that
which has been owed
he fell among their sleeping forms
beams of light, lancing as if they were cold steel
and all at once the bodies fall
a hunger rising, an ancient power old beyond time
yet still the darkness inside persists
his vengeance has brought no peace
misery breeds misery, he slumps to the floor
as outside, morning sun begins to rise
