funkhundd Blackened Death? Black Metal? To me, this is straight up crunchy Death Metal like it was played back in the late eighties/early nineties, when the scene wasn't fragmented into thousands of subgenres and all that mattered was that it sounded heavy and evil as fuck.

Sagoth Escafismo with another gem.
This one is raw, crushing and blazing death/black metal with melodic and atmospheric edge.
Despite the ferociousity of the songs, Nidros Desecration manage to distinct the songs from one another and keeping you immerssed in the music until your last breath.

Brian Parker Bought as part of the Escafismo bundle, and for me this one stands out. That old school vibe, clearly enunciated vocals, the smeary art - I could totally see this on some circa 1990 cassette. I figure with Death Metal, that’s praise! The touches of atmosphere at times really works, too.

Spooky and heavy as fuck.
